Danielle Brown named Esports Coach of the Year for KY

Congratulations to Esports Head Coach Danielle Brown on being named NFHS Kentucky Esports Coach of the Year! 
 
As part of its annual awards program, the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Coaches Association recognizes Coach of the Year honorees from each state. Those named Coach of the Year at the state level then advance for consideration for Sectional Coach of the Year honors. 

Winners are chosen through a combination of their coaching accomplishments, particularly for the season in question, as well as their contributions outside of competition to help grow their respective sports. These awards are announced following the recognized year.

Under Coach Brown’s leadership, the Esports Bearcats won the KHSAA Mario Kart State Championship in the winter 2022 season, and both Mario Kart and League of Legends teams finished as State Semifinalists in the spring 2023 season. Congratulations Coach Brown! We can’t wait to see our Esports Bearcats in action this winter.
